DISASSEMBLE AND SHIP POREBA BORING MACHINE HOUSTON

This is actually one of our smaller jobs. Disassembly and shipping of a Poreba 4 inch boring machine which is somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 tons (or 50,000 pounds).

For the layperson, a boring machine is a large machine tool essentially a lathe but commonly with rotating work table, fixed cutting tools, and a vertical axis. Boring machines, is a device used for producing smooth and accurate holes in a workpiece by enlarging existing holes with a bore. Usually used to bear a single cutting tip of steel, cemented carbide, or diamond or may be a small grinding wheel.

In this case we had to disassemble, and ship which often occurs after plant relocation or sale at auction.
